Our History
Berber City FC, originally named Berber Stars, was founded in 2013 by two brothers from Al-Hoceima, Rif Region located North Morocco. The brothers named their team to after the ethnic population of North Africa, The Berbers, to honor their background.
The logo is based on the Berber flag which is a symbol for all Berber ( or Amazigh) people.
The blue represents the Mediterranean Sea. Green represents the Atlas Mountains. Yellow represents the vastness of the Sahara Desert. The red of the letter Z (or Yaz in Berber) represents the freedom of the Free Man.
